X-Rite Inc., which develops colour measurement and management systems, software, and services, has donated a new Ci7860 spectrophotometer to the Association of Textile, Apparel & Materials Professionals (AATCC). The Ci7860 is designed to minimise the contribution of inter-instrument agreement to colour variation for accurate and consistent colour control.Instrumental colour measurement is a critical component of AATCC's work. The Ci7860 will be used for various projects related to test method development and quality control materials.
AATCC will also use the spectrophotometer in demonstrations during workshops related to colour management and measurement. It will be available to corporate members who visit the AATCC labs, said the association in a press release.
