Wal-Mart honors JVS Export with 'International Supplier of the Year 2004 Award'

Leading producer of kitchen textiles based in Tamil Nadu state JVS Export, announced that largest retailer in the world Wal-Mart has awarded JVS Export with “International Supplier of the Year 2004 Award”, for implementation of the effective processes, which has improved supply chain efficiencies in global markets.

JVS Export has been awarded for the successfully putting into practice of the Point of Sales (POS) replacement program in 2004 and seller tools such as 'Retail Link', which has resulted in the better management of inventories and tracking of sales by item, store, distribution centers and products in transit so that the buyers could found company's products on shelves on time.

JVS Export has been in the business of exporting kitchen textile goods like dish cloths and wash cloths to Wal-Mart stores in Brazil, Canada, Mexico, US, UK and Japan since 1998.
Britto, Chairman of JVS Export informed that their business has rise vertically since they partnered with Wal-Mart.

He added that they have access to top management of Wal-Mart, who help them with their sourcing queries, quality standards and providing training.
