The National Statistical Coordination Board informed that the Philippine merchandise exports in November 2005, estimated at US$3,626.24 million refused by 1.6 percent compared to November 2004 figures.
As reported by the National Statistics Office (NSO), electronic products remain the country's top export, accounting for 68.1 percent of the total exports, followed by articles of apparel and clothing accessories at 4.6 percent.
The other commodities in the list of top ten exports, accounting for 9.6 percent of the total, were coconut oil, petroleum products, other products manufactured from materials on consignment basis, ignition wiring set and other wiring sets used in vehicles aircrafts and ships, fresh bananas, metal components, cathodes and sections of cathodes of refined copper, and woodcrafts and furniture.
The biggest markets for exports in November 2005 were Japan with 17.4 percent share, the United States of America with 17.0 percent share, Netherlands with 11.0 percent share and People's Republic of China with 9.1 percent share.
