El Foro 2005 co-produced by AHM, SPESA & [TC]2 in Sept

Three leading industry organizations, AHM (the Honduran Manufacturers Association), SPESA (The Sewn Products Equipment & Suppliers of the Americas), and [TC]2 have announced a major conference that will bring together major US and Central American executives and industry experts.
Co-produced by AHM, SPESA, and [TC]2, El Foro 2005 will be held September 19-20, 2005 at the Club Arabe in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
According to the conference organizers, the event is in response to requests from major apparel manufacturers in Honduras and throughout Central America for a high-level intelligence-sharing forum focusing on the challenges and opportunities associated with manufacturing and sourcing into Central America.
El Foro will feature presentations on pertinent trade issues, country focus reports, and viewpoints from major retailers and brand manufacturers. El Foro will also provide key perspectives on worldwide technology, textiles, and regional sourcing.
Critical Issues / Critical Times
“It is imperative that the manufacturers in Central America be exposed to the most insightful perspectives available. Knowledge is the most critical component for the prosperity of the region. While El Foro will be located in Honduras, they invite and encourage all of Central America to come and hear these timely and crucial perspectives. It is imperative that they advance as a region, not as individual countries,” stated Henry Fransen, Executive Director of AHM.
