Larger share in German market expected - Mr Sheikh

Pakistan is among top quality textile producer and this product of Pakistan is compatible with any other competitor in the world and Germany has played highly important role by supplying equipment and machinery of latest technology used for production in textile industry.
This was stated by Mr. Tanvir Ahmad Sheikh, President FPCCI while talking to Mr. Hans Joachim Kiderlen, Consul General of Federal Republic of Germany in Karachi who visited FPCCI to meet President FPCCI in Federation House, Karachi.
Mr. Tanvir Ahmad Sheikh further said that we are committed to provide products of superior quality and recently we have made huge investment in textile sector for Balancing, Modernization and Rehabilitation for matching the quality of textile with product of any other producer of the world.
The Consul General Mr. Hans assured President FPCCI that German Government is considering adoption of system to facilitate participants of exhibitions to bring and take back the goods without custom hassle.
Mr. Hans also pointed out the importance of Dairy Sector of Pakistan and said that there exists huge potential for Daily Products in Pakistan and by using modern processing equipment milk and milk products can be exported from Pakistan.
Appreciating the suggestion of the Consul General Mr Tanvir Sheikh said that we will guide and create awareness about the potential of exporting Milk Products and Halal Food from Pakistan.
Mr. Tanvir also emphasized on re activating Pak-German Business Council of FPCCI for identifying potential areas of trade.
The meeting was also attended by Vice Presidents Mr. Zubair Tufail, Mr. Farooq Dadabhoy, Mr. Farooq Sheikh, Mr. Shakil Ahmed and Secretary General Mr. M.A.Lodhi.
