Shoe maker Diadora & best cyclist Damiano Cunego sign new sponsorship deal

Diadora is proud to announce its new sponsorship agreement with Damiano Cunego, one of the current best cyclist, the leader of the Team Lampre-Caffita. This sponsorship, which will last until the end of 2007, is actually a project dedicated to Cunego. Diadora is committed to support him not just as an athlete, but also as a human being, providing him with highly personalized materials that enhance his technical and athletic skills, while also contributing to Diadora product innovation.
The winner of the 2004 Giro d'Italia will be wearing his Pro Racer Carbons, the best technology and comfort available in the cycling world. These shoes have been designed in the Diadora Research Center to fit his feet, taking all of his physical and technical characteristics into consideration. Furthermore he will be also wearing the technical underwear Hidden Power, one of the highest expression of Diadora capacity to innovate.
Diadora will be on the sidelines of one of the world's most exciting and legendary races, on the roads passing through the Ardennes. On Diadora website you will find the pictures and the comments of the Flèche Wallonne and of the Lieges-Bastogne-Lieges. We will report the training and the most intense moments before and after the race.

With the occasion of the important races the Italian Consulate in Lieges will be hostinga pa prestigious exhibition of “Made in Italy” products from April 20 to 24. It is an excellent opportunity to introduce the public not just to the Pro Racer Carbon, but also to the Pro Racer Chrome worn by Igor Astarloa, the new Iron 3 collection, and the official limited edition shoes for the Giro d'Italia.
