Textiles dye maker Metrochem FY 06 results coming soon

MetroChem has launched several products, for the first time, in the domestic and export markets has informed BSE that the Audited Results for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 and the financial year ended on March 31, 2006 will be published on or before June 30, 2006.

And therefore, the Unaudited Results for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2006 are not being published during the month of April 2006.

MetroChem also produces Vinyl Sulphone Derivatives; Pyrazolones; Naphthalene based intermediates and Beta Naphthol Derivatives along with other non-Benzidine based and Benzene based intermediates.

These are used in industries like textiles, leather, paper, food and ink. The strategic backward integration initiated by the Company has enabled it to attain self-reliance.

Dyestuff is for use in cotton textiles, wool, silk, nylon, paper and leather, while Dye Intermediates are used as raw materials for Reactive, Direct and Acid Dyes.

As a strategic diversification Metrochem has added Pigment and Fine Chemicals with its broad range of products.
