Idemitsu Kosan to shut naphtha cracker for maintenance

Japan-based Idemitsu Kosan Co. Ltd. is likely to shut its naphtha cracker for maintenance turnaround in the second half of this year.
“We are planning to shut the naphtha cracker for maintenance for around two months period from August to September,” a company official informed fibre2fashion.
The naphtha cracker is located in Tokuyama, Japan, and has an annual ethylene production capacity of 623,000 mt.
