JBTRL Q2 net sales up by 6% at Rs52 cr

Jaybharat Textiles and Real Estate Limited (JBTRL), a Saurabh Kumar Tayal Enterprise, has reported an increase of 6.37 percent in its net sales at Rs 52.43 crores during the second quarter ended September 30 2006 as against the net sales of Rs 49.29 crores during the previous corresponding quarter ended September 30 2005.

The company has reported a profit of Rs 5.45 crores for the second quarter of the fiscal ended September 30, 2006 against Rs 6.00 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The company has reported an increase in its net profit at Rs 11.95 crores during the first six months of this fiscal as against Rs 11.86 crores during the same period last year.

The EPS of the company stands at Rs 1.34 per share.

Diversifying from its textile business, the company has recently entered into the real estate sector. Under its real estate ambitions, the JBTRL is constructing a hyper-market-cum-commercial centre called City Centre at Vapi in Gujarat.

The ambitious Vapi project will have an IT Park, auditoriums, malls, food courts and multiplexes.

Jaybharat Textiles and Real Estate Limited (JBTRL) is engaged in the manufacture of cotton yarn and doubling of cotton yarn. The company is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Its plants are located at Silvassa, Vapi and Bhilad.

Currently JBTRL has an installed capacity of 28 Doubling machines with an aggregate capacity of 5000 tpa and open-end-capacity of 12,000 tpa. Apart from textiles, the company has forayed into the real estate with its project at Vapi, Gujarat.
