In-house union of Kolon Industries breaks off KCTU

The in-house union of Kolon Industries Inc has withdrawn itself from Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) on December 21, 2006.
Out of 799 workers, about 790 participated in voting and 95.4 percent of them supported the secession. This step was taken as there was no benefit in KCTU membership.
During 2003, company recorded a deficit of W85.7 billion (US $1=W927) and W150 billion in 2004.
