N L Bhatia appointed as Director in Chandni Textiles

Chandni Textiles, a part of J R Mehta Group is a successful Indian Exporter of fabric and yarns to customers all over the world. The production range of the company is Velvet Fabric, textile machinery and Chenile Yarn.
The company has appointed a senior practicing company secretary, N L Bhatia as independent director with effect from November 15, 2006.
Chandni Textiles has recorded loss of Rs490,000 in the third quarter ended in September 2006 compared to Rs1.96 million profits compared to the same period previous year. Total income for the quarter declined 26.9 percent from last year.
