Americhem to add new manufacturing lines in NC & Texas

The closure of the Maryland plant is expected to be complete by April 2008. Products currently produced at the smaller Salisbury facility will be transferred to other Americhem sites over the next several months.
Currently there are 29 employees at this facility and the company expects several to be transferred to other locations.
"We are excited about the many growth opportunities in the NAFTA color and additives markets," said Bouton. "Our expansion will not only enable us to provide even better service to our clients, but also increase our focus on new growth initiatives."
