Amcor Limited, a multinational packaging leader, laid the foundation stone of its new facility in Lodz, Poland's second largest city, on Tuesday, December 4.
The plant is expected to be built with an investment of around €30 million and will cover an area of 7.5 thousand m2.
The factory, equipped with the latest production line like German flexographic machine and Italian laminator for polypropylene foil in polymount technology, will be located in Lodz sub-zone, at the New Jozefów-Srebrna Complex and is expected to employ around 150 people.
The Amcor plant is supposed to produce packaging material for cosmetics products and washing machines among others.
