Linum S/S (Ocean & Sand) 2008 Collection!

Linum Sverige is introducing two new collections, Ocean and Sand. Both these collections are based on a theme of poetry as the threads in the weave can be compared to words which make up a poem. At the same time as they transform visible simplicity to something surprising and exciting, they also tell a story.
OCEAN
There are patterns of small checks as will as classical wider stripes. Combine the bedspread MAST in a classical wide ticking stripe together with the thin striped duvet cover LOMBOCK. The throw FIONA in brushed cotton works well with the classical stripe BARK. This part of the collection was designed by Synnöve Mork.
Take a closer look at the beautifully striped seat pad MANEGE, signed Petra Carlsten-Eygun - this seast pad works well with just about everything. The delicate checks ELNA, INES and ELLIOT have been designed by Gunilla Lagerhem-Ullberg. They come as tea towels as will as cushions and Elliot as a duvet cover too. Gunilla is also the creator of IDUN which is an interesting stripe with navy and browns and with an hint of white. IDUN comes as runners, aprons and as cushions.
TERESA is another new pattern; a check forming a grid of blue shades and on a white background and which is available as bath towels. Last but not least in the OCEAN range there are TATAMI and IKAT, just as blue and available as rugs, runners, aprons, tea towels, cushions and much more.
SAND
Sand stands for coral and turquoise that mix beautifully with lime, light grey and san colored nature. Mulit colored checks and stripes in different scales which create different interesting rhythms. Tablecloth SKAGEN and the little napkin SMILLA are examples of beautiful checks in this range and they also come as tea towels and pot-holders. KIRSTEN represents new and fresh stripes in interesting colour combinations. This patterna comes as runner, placemats and seat pads and can be combined with the tea towel LIV.
