Nahar Group, one of the reputed industrial conglomerates in India having a wide range portfolio from spinning, knitting, fabrics and hosiery garments, is planning for expansion in India and abroad for its retail venture Nahar Retail Ltd.
The company with Rs100 Crore turnover is expecting to reach Rs260 crores in the present fiscal, taking its growth to 160 percent.
For strengthening its foothold in the domestic market, NRL plans to add 115 new stores to its existing strength of outlets by investing around Rs35 crore. The company has its presence in 295 cities across the country.
When Fibre2fashion asked Mr Sachin Sahni, Vice President of NRL about company's proposals of expansion in the Gulf, he said, “We are looking forward to open 'Cotton County' outlets in the region, however, every thing will depend on the kind of offers we get and response towards our products and schemes.”
Further, the Vice President said, “Other than Middle East entrepreneurs the company has also received proposals from countries like Italy and Canada."
Mr Sahni informed that presently, company earns revenue between Rs40-45 lakh per outlet and expect to increase the same by 20 percent by next year.
