J H Ziegler to begin Hungary nonwoven ops

Needle-punched nonwovens seller J. H. Ziegler GmbH & Co KG will begin production of Nonwovens in Hungary in the second quarter of 2006.
In a green field investment an 18000 m² property was purchased at Bábolna (near Györ, northwest Hungary).The total volume of the investment is approximately 3.5 Mio EUR (4.2 Mio USD).
From the new location mainly the furniture and automotive markets in Central and Eastern Europe will be supplied. In this area Ziegler creates already today more than 20 percent of its turnover and expects further growth.
The employment at the main facility in Achern/Germany will not be affected by the investment.
Upholstery materials producer J.H. Ziegler offers many benefits is the finishing of nonwoven materials. In those cases in which the processing of textiles is not a standard practice of the customer, he does not need to invest in additional technology or to use a further service company. The range of products, which consists of needle-punched nonwovens, laminated nonwovens, wadding and foam/nonwoven composites, covers well-known as well as novel and unusual applications. This is range is supplemented by cut pieces which they produce with the CAD-controlled cutter according to your specifications.
