Swisstulle AG domiciled in Switzerland has been for more than 25 years present on the world market for technical textiles as producer and finisher for knitted fabric. In the field of home textiles and technical textiles Swisstulle makes products for theatre curtains, wig substrates, curtain fabric, sun blinds, safety nets and many more. In the field of tulle (particularly Bobinet tulle) the company is already for years considered as market leader.

The strength of Swisstulle are developments particularly suited to the customers needs and the versatility of its range of products. The increased ecological awareness and the company's philosophy induced Swisstulle to convert their production consistently to environment-friendly processes. For this reason Swisstulle set into operation in Qingdao in China a finishing line for highly sensitive articles, made by Brückner and Erbatech.

This line for the production of high quality knitted fabric free of contaminants made of natural, synthetic and high-tech fibres comprises two main components. On the one hand the efficiently working SCOUT washing machine working with low tension made by Erbatech to wash out finishing agents. With controlled fabric guidance this machine allows to achieve optimum shrinkage values.

The second component is the high-capacity POWER-FRAME stenter made by Brückner for drying and absolutely homogeneous heat-setting. Brückner and Erbatech could convince Swisstulle with their energy saving and environmentally friendly components. At the same time, the customer benefits of the higher production output with improved quality.

For the finishing of this extremely sensitive fabric our engineers developed an appropriate machinery concept which allows to use among other things also flame-retardant or water-repellent finishing processes. Brückner's patented SPLIT-FLOW air control system provides in the stenter for an absolutely homogeneous air and temperature distribution across the complete length and width of the dryer. This is absolutely required for a continuously high quality of the fabric during the drying and heat-setting process and was amongst other things the essential purchase criterion for Swisstulle AG.

Due to the specially shaped nozzles an air cushion effect is generated with very light and sensitive fabric which transports the fabric very gently through the line and prevents snags. In addition a special equipment at the entry and at the exit of the stenter provides for a fabric transport with very low tension.

For more than 60 years the BRÜCKNER company group is known as producer of very modern textile finishing machines. The founder Kurt Brückner invested already in the first years very much in development and research which paid off already several times. In 2002 the former wet finishing sector of the Brückner group became the independent company Erbatech GmbH. The company developed further into today's market leader for wet finishing of sensitive knitted fabric.

Thanks to the many decades of joint and shared technical expert knowledge and the continuous development, both companies are today in a position to plan for each customer a machinery concept which is particularly designed for its individual needs.
