The profit of Mumbai-based Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company has swelled by 75.1 percent to Rs. 820 million for the quarter ended March 2011, compared to a profit of Rs. 468 million for the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.
The net sales of the company during the quarter increased to Rs. 6.192 billion compared to Rs. 5.276 billion in the same period the previous year.
For the financial year 2010-11, the company registered a profit of Rs. 213.9 million compared to Rs. 184.2 million attained during 2009-10, i.e. a growth of about 16 percent.
The net sales of the company during 2010-11 increased by 14.85 percent to Rs. 18.865 billion from Rs. 16.428 billion achieved during 2009-10.
