Finnish software developer Sunduka announced last week launch of its revolutionary mobile app Ringi for Android phones. Ringi turns traditional mobile calls into a fun, visual, self-expression and messaging experience.
Ivana Helsinki, the rising Finnish design brand will bring its latest fashion designs into Ringi's picture gallery. It gives mobile phone users a unique possibility to express themselves with their favorite fashion designs in their phone calls.
“With Ringi we can bring our design in a new and innovative way to people's everyday life. Ringi gives us a unique digital channel to introduce our latest works,” says Pirjo Suhonen, Producer of Ivana Helsinki.
Ringi addresses the fact that each call people make is different and personal and that traditional calls are not visual and informative – With Ringi app every call is more – each call can be easily personalized or branded with an image and a message, a Ringi.
Ringis are created by choosing a picture from your phone or the Ringi online gallery or by taking a snapshot with the phone camera. Add a brief message and you are ready to make a Ringi call. If the recipient is unable to answer, your visual Ringi message can be viewed later from the Ringi app's call log.
The Ringi app is free and now available on the Android market with more major operating system versions (iOS, WP7 and Symbian) supported later in 2012.
Timo Soininen, CEO of Sunduka, comments: ”We are very excited to have Ivana Helsinki, one of world's most exciting fashion houses, to design and visualize Ringi calls. Now people can customize each call with Ivana Helsinki's latest fashion designs – making calling a fun and rich visual experience.
