A'GACI selects MID Retail to fuel accelerated expansion

MID Retail Inc. announced that A’GACI has selected its Advanced Merchandise Planning and Advanced Allocation software to intelligently manage merchandising operations as A’GACI continues its rapid growth.

“A’GACI is accelerating its nationwide expansion and needs every new location to be successful as quickly as possible. MID Retail’s Merchandise Planning capabilities let us translate each location’s aggressive financial plan into merchandise plans that allow us to meet and exceed our financial goals,” said Reid Hackney, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for A’GACI.

“Much of A’GACI’s success lies in understanding how our customers’ style, color, and size preferences vary at each store location. MID Retail enables us to improve our attention to detail at every single store, using automation to scale our highly customer-centric allocation processes,” said Hackney.

“Since A’GACI is a trend-setter, it’s critical to start the season right and then remain in-tune with actual customer demand, immediately responding to trends,” he added.

At the start of each merchandising season, A’GACI will use MID Retail’s completely automated methods to translate high-level financial plans into actionable merchandise and store plans. As the season progresses, MID Retail’s fully integrated solution recalculates the merchandise forecast on-the-fly, optimizing store allocations to meet real-time demand. As a result, customers find the styles they want at attractive prices – and A’GACI drives new operational efficiency that goes from sourcing all the way to the store.
