Datacolor expands Latin American sales team
Aug '13
Datacolor, a global leader in color management solutions, announced an expansion of its sales team in Latin America. The initiative will significantly enhance customer service in the region by adding experienced resources to the company’s current sales team, in support of its existing dealer network.

Joining Datacolor’s Latin America sales team are:

Russ Steimle, sales director: Steimle will assume sales leadership responsibility for Datacolor’s Industrial and Consumer businesses in the region. Previously, he held various sales leadership positions including more than 16 years as South America sales director for X-Rite, Inc.;

Ricardo Lovetro, sales manager: Lovetro’s role will include sales management responsibility for Brazil and the southern cone of Latin America. He brings more than 13 years of experience in the color technology field, serving in multiple sales and service positions;

Rodrigo Puerta, PCS sales manager: Supporting the northern region of South America, Puerta will leverage his background and knowledge in color measurement products and applications to help enhance the already strong Datacolor brand in the market.

“Recognizing that the Latin America market is full of new growth opportunities, Datacolor is strategically adding more resources to the existing sales team in the region,” said Brian Levey, vice president of sales and support of Datacolor.  “The staff, both new and existing, has a deep understanding of the people, culture, and business practices in the area and will be able to directly, and quickly, respond to the needs and concerns of our Latin America customers and our network of dealers.”

Datacolor customers in Latin America will immediately recognize the higher level of attention and support that comes from having people directly related to the company quickly reacting to circumstances specific to the region. Datacolor anticipates continued growth throughout the region and across multiple industries, supplying more opportunities to provide further product and sales support.
