Datacolor unveils MATCH TEXTILE 2.0 colour match software

Datacolor, a global leader in colour management solutions, has released the new Datacolor MATCH TEXTILE version 2.0, a significant upgrade to its smart colour matching software for colour professionals in the textile industry.
The MATCH TEXTILE version 2.0 significantly increases the accuracy of recipe calculation and speeds up the colour matching process, improving productivity and reducing costs for dyehouses. It also delivers superior first-shot matches using advanced colour matching technology and its state-of-the-art Smart Match algorithms. The time required to develop new colour recipes is reduced by up to 50 per cent, resulting in faster throughput, reduced raw material consumption, and more time for operators to focus on other value-added tasks, Datacolor informs in a press release.
With extended data exchange capabilities, Datacolor MATCH TEXTILE version 2.0 enables users to transfer dye recipe data throughout the supply chain, streamlining the colour development process. In addition, the advanced functionality saves and links customer formulation requirements to the matching jobs, which enables users to make correct colour decisions quickly, and minimizes waste by reducing errors.
The upgrade also includes an interactive tutorial and user tips that guide the user through the software. This new feature improves the overall user experience, increases productivity and lowers the learning curve for colour formulation. New and advanced features are explained in detail and enable their immediate use.
