Fujitsu unveils version 3 of manufacturing ERP GLOVIA G2
Jul '15
Fujitsu, the leading Japanese information and communication technology (ICT) company, has released version 3 of Fujitsu Enterprise Application GLOVIA G2, production-management ERP for discrete manufacturing.

With latest improvements , the new ERP brings consistency to all of the major phases of the manufacturing business - bidding, receipt of order, manufacturing, delivery, inventory, and maintenance - and to provide easy-to-understand tools that can be used anytime and anywhere to securely enter and review data, and make quick business decisions based on up-to-date information.

The new version of GLOVIA G2 can be used on Windows or Android, on desktop or mobile devices, and with a mouse or on a touch-screen. Completely implemented in HTML5, it runs in a variety of standard-compliant browsers, including Internet Explorer and Chrome.

The screens have been redesigned for greater simplicity with a flat design that improves the user interface. All detailed screens can be displayed as tabular gridded views that allow the user to sort by columns, reorder columns, group by search results and perform sophisticated filtering. Usability has also been improved in views of production planning and parts-table maintenance, materials and other required-quantity calculation results. New displays are available, including calendar-formatted entry mode and tree view. All of these changes improve visibility and productivity, according to a company press release.

It also offers stronger security for safe communications with the most current Internet-security standards, including https and the Advanced Encryption Standard. All communications are encrypted for worry-free GLOVIA G2 use on mobile devices. (GK)
