La Quinta & BiofarmItalia launches real fabric with Eurojersey

The new product has been registered as a class 1 medical device with the Health Ministry.
This revolutionary application on Eurojersey Sensitive fabrics launched by La Quinta and BiofarmItalia, will provide the market with the first really intelligent fabric which “interacts" with the wearer, creating a new fashion concept of “wellness to wear”.
The uses of the new technology are currently being studied by La Quinta and BiofarmItalia particularly in the sectors of high performance sports clothing, underwear and beachwear as well as in furnishing.
The two brand names under which the product will be marketed in the textile-clothing and hospital-health sectors respectively and which will be presented in the next few months are currently being defined.
La Quinta is an international network of consulting and services for companies and designers. It was established in 1980 as the first Italian company specialised in design and licensing for the fashion industry and it is now one of the most important companies in this sector.
Biofarmitalia has been involved in research and development of new technologies with cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications since 1992. Biofarmitalia's research is above all concentrated in the Drug Delivery System sector, where the successes obtained have led to the production of several types of innovative product and improving the technologies used.
Eurojersey, founded in 1960, has reached the top of the textile industry thanks to its commitment to technological research which has always characterised its business, allowing it to produce high performance and innovative ladderproof fabrics.
