MarketLive Inc, the leading global eCommerce software and service provider for retailers, announced its apparel customers outperformed market averages on key business metrics. The merchants' performance was measured using Omniture analytics data across standard MarketLive Performance Index factors.

Many apparel merchants, including new customer Vanity, a leading multi-channel merchant of fashion apparel and accessories for young women, continue to select MarketLive to achieve this level of business performance. With the MarketLive eCommerce Suite, apparel dealers across the MarketLive family achieved:

• 24% more revenue per visit
• 59% better conversion rates
• 30% more traffic from search engines

These performance statistics represent the actual business performance of 25% of the entire MarketLive base of customers, and 72% of MarketLive apparel dealers whose performance is tracked as part of the quarterly MarketLive Performance Index.

"The MarketLive Performance Index is an important indicator of trends in eCommerce," said Judith Roberts, President of eStrategyfirst, an eCommerce strategy consultancy. "Apparel is one of the largest industry segments in eCommerce. It's clear that the merchants are using solid strategies and tactics and are achieving real business results. Tracking is key to fine-tuning and optimizing for performance for all retailers."

"We are proud to have many leading apparel merchants as part of ourmerchant family and we are thrilled with their overall business performance and growth," said Terry Austin, President and CEO of MarketLive. "In an industry that often measures itself in single digits, these figures show MarketLive understands the online apparel business and offers the right technology and services to help apparel dealers achieve their business goals."
