Nordstrom deploys Iasta SmartSource eSourcing technology

Iasta, experts in delivery of eSourcing software and services for global supply management, announced that leading fashion specialty retailer, Nordstrom Inc, signed a multi-year agreement to utilize Iasta's eSourcing solution.
After completing a successful pilot period, Nordstrom determined that Iasta was the best fit based on lasta's strategic sourcing tools, system flexibility and an understanding of the company's sourcing needs.
"After a thorough review, we found that Iasta offered Nordstrom the best solution set, combined with highest value for our money," said Steve Kesinger, Vice President of Procurement for Nordstrom.
Iasta's SmartSource, a secure eSourcing platform, enables users to reduce sourcing cycle times, improve processes and capture cost savings through the use of robust features and functionality such as event management, e-RFx creation and template libraries, advanced reverse auctions and post-bid optimization analysis.
Nordstrom found the combination of these tools, as well as Iasta's ability to support a multi-location retail organization with rapid response times and its robust resource library, was integral to their decision.
