Lemaitre Sécurité's CityZen for men shoes combine safety & style

Lemaitre Sécurité of France, a manufacturer of safety footwear, has launched the CityZen for Men range of fashionable safety shoes. The shoes are non-steel, lightweight and highly reliable, as well as being stylish and elegant. All of the CityZen for Men models use the company's innovative AMS Concept (AMagnetic System), which means the shoes are entirely ametallic and amagnetic.

CityZen for Men shoes are ideal for engineering staff and plain-clothes and uniformed personnel who work in offices, workshops, controlled areas, airports, warehouses, and similar environments. The range is designed for those who require safety footwear, but who also need to look smart. The shoes can even be worn outside work, as they are designed to be fashionable as well as functional.

The CityZen for Men range of footwear offers numerous advantages. The shoes are impervious to thermal variations and transfers and are undetectable by airport metal detectors. They are exceptionally comfortable and lightweight, yet still guarantee full safety.

The collection includes several models: Véga S3 (classic and elegant brogue), Pégase S3 (Derby shoe in smooth leather), Orion S3 (elegant moccasin), and Zénith S3 (sports-style shoe that protects the ankle and provides support). All these models are made of full-grain, water-repellent black leather, while being both supple and resistant, and are lined with Cambrelle for extra hygiene and comfort. The sole is slip resistant, with edges that are slightly bevelled so as to conceal the tread and give the shoe a finer profile. Finally, Lemaitre Sécurité offers the luxurious Sirius S3 model – an elegant Derby which is lined with leather.

All the shoes are ultra light and have resistant polycarbonate toes (200 joules – certified EN ISO 20345). Besides, the shoes all include an anti-perforation insole made of a high-resistance textile, which is lightweight, flexible, inalterable, and resistant to perforation over 100% of the sole's surface area (certified EN ISO 20345). Finally, the sole is made of double-density polyurethane.

The company has facilities in several countries and a production capacity of 16,000 pairs a day. With more than 2,500,000 pairs manufactured each year, Lemaitre Sécurité is one of the most widely sold brands of safety footwear in the world.
