HCL Infosystems Limited, India's premier Information Enabler and country's leading ICT System Integrator and Distribution Company has announced an alliance with Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Science (GGITS) to launch HCL K2 Academy in Bhopal and Jabalpur. At HCL K2 Academy the students will be offered industry relevant IT skills in IT hardware, software and networking.

As part of its Educational Institutions Alliance Program, HCL has launched K2 academy with an objective of bridging the gap between the demand and supply of industry-ready ICT professionals, by creating skilled workforce and making them available to organizations deploying ICT.

HCL continues to deliver ICT education and training services through its Career Development Centers also. HCL Education Services offers full spectrum of consumer & business training services. HCL Education is ISO 9001 certified for its processes.

At HCL K2 Academy the students will be offered training on contemporary technologies, projects, industry exposure through principal workshops by Microsoft, Oracle and Redhat and an opportunity of internship at HCL & other associate companies. GGITS will provide the necessary infrastructure for the courses with recommendations from HCL. Qualifying students at the end of curriculum will be awarded a certificate and performance based placement assistance.

According to Mr. Rajendra Kumar, Executive Vice President, HCL Infosystems Limited “HCL K2 Academy's industry interface courses have been designed to transform young students into industry-ready professionals, who are ready to take on ICT deployment responsibilities.

This has been symbolized in our program name HCL K2 Academy, where 'K2' stands for knowledge kinetics, and our student motto, “I'm the one” stands for what each as an individual wants to become and his/her ambition to achieve their professional goals. We are glad to offer the benefits of HCL K2 Academy to the students of Bhopal and Jabalpur, which will prepare them for a rewarding career in the IT industry.”

In the world of high-end cutting-edge technologies that we live in today, students do not have the exposure and training on leading edge technologies, which is so very critical to build the ICT infrastructure in the country.

Mr. Rajneet Jain, Chairman, Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Science said “The growth of ICT industry over the years has made it the most desired career destination for today's students.

GGIST is glad to partner with HCL Infosystems in offering students the education that would jumpstart their career in IT. We are also certain that GGIST students will certainly benefit from the specialized courses, faculty and over thirty years of expertise of HCL Infosystems.”
