Fila chooses Scancom for BlackBerry on Orange
Nov '08
Fila and scancom.co.uk have been working closely over recent months to deploy a solution that's both easy to manage and extensible. Fila required secure Email and additional applications bespoke to their business. After extensive testing Fila and Scancom decided the BlackBerry platform with Orange airtime would be the best solution.

Andy Burton (Managing Director Fila) said: "When it comes to BlackBerry, Scancom know their stuff. In addition to their great relationship with RIM and also being an Orange Business Specialist Partner, Scancom's internal IT systems were most impressive. We now know how Scancom has become the one-stop shop for BlackBerry in the UK. BlackBerry deployment at Fila helps facilitate a smooth communication flow with the security levels we demand. We are looking forward to a long relationship with Scancom."

Kal Kotecha (Sales Director Scancom.co.uk) said: "We are very happy to be working with Fila. Most of us have grown up wearing Fila garments! It's great to be associated with Fila with our specialist product - BlackBerry. In addition working with Orange as the carrier partner just helped put everything in order. Orange has been very proactive and continues to work closely with Scancom."

Established in Italy in 1911, Fila is a leading manufacturer of footwear and apparel for sport and leisure that has developed excellent brand recognition by marketing products with a high design and style content that are endorsed by professional athletes from around the world.

For almost 15 years Scancom has been providing communication solutions to the UK business market. Scancom is an Orange business specialist partner and a BlackBerry Alliance Partner.
