TradeStone Software, the retail industry's leading provider of private label and global sourcing solutions, announced UK-based retailer Wilkinson is the latest customer to go-live with TradeStone Supplier Management. TradeStone is enabling Wilkinson to have increased communication and collaboration with trading partners to lower costs and improve the performance and the quality of their goods.

Wilkinson no longer has to worry about managing their supplier database through various spreadsheets and programs – with TradeStone they have visibility for the first time on compliance, regulations and supplier report cards. The retailer now has greater control over the audit process and the ability to evaluate their factories and thoroughly vet the quality of their vendors.

TradeStone's Supplier Management solution is enabling Wilkinson to focus on products and their choice of vendors. Supplier Key Performance Indicators drive continuous performance improvement and capture transactional data such as planned vs. actual milestone dates, percentage of Quality Assurance failures and number of late shipments. With TradeStone Supplier Management Wilkinson is improving efficiency in the factory audit process.

Wilkinson is also adding basis points to their bottom line by reducing costs associated with improving the quality of goods, as well as reducing returns and increasing customer satisfaction. Wilkinson's entire supplier data in both the Hong Kong and UK offices is being consolidated through the TradeStone Solution.

“As a family-run business for nearly 80 years, values and trust are very important to us and TradeStone is giving us one of the greatest assets we can have – the ability to really trust our suppliers' performance and capabilities,” said Phil Barnes, Commercial Planning Manager, Wilkinson.

“Having all the data available in one place has eliminated previous ad hoc processes and email based communication and enabled us to make decisions for the first time based on the quality of suppliers we're working with. Our data now has a level of quality and accessibility it never had before and as a company, we are now able to make more strategic decisions based on which vendors to grow with. We've also noticed that because of the simplicity of the system, our buyers have taken to it very quickly, which helps us focus on the buying process.”

“We have also been very impressed with both the TradeStone team and the application. From day one, the product has done exactly what was promised – which is a great compliment. This is just the beginning of a significant partnership that will help us create efficient processes to make our business even more successful for years to come,” said Barnes.

“We are proud that Wilkinson recognizes TradeStone's Supplier Management solution as a true turning point for their relationship with their supplier community,” said Sue Welch, CEO, TradeStone Software.“The enhanced visibility and communication with their suppliers is enabling them to more effectively meet customer demand, reduce costs and improve overall business operations. The success Wilkinson has seen so far is just a preview of the ROI and time savings they'll experience as we move forward with implementing our full Merchandise Lifecycle Management suite.”
