The Sewn Products Equipment & Suppliers of the Americas (SPESA) is pleased to announce that SEAMS, the national association for the sewn products industry, will present a special “Made in USA Supply Chain” pavilion in its May 18-20, 2010 SPESA EXPO event in Atlanta, Georgia. The new pavilion will showcase a wide range of products produced by SEAMS member companies, as well as individual exhibits of US-based companies that offer manufacturing and other services for every link in the softgoods supply chain.

“The Made in USA Supply Chain pavilion will provide a unique opportunity for US-based companies to show the world what we can do,” stated Sarah Friedman, SEAMS Executive Director. “We expect that many of our brand, manufacturer, contractor, and service provider members will participate in the pavilion with their US-made products and services.”

SEAMS President Gerald Schwartz added, “SEAMS is pleased to be a part of SPESA EXPO and to bring this terrific opportunity to our membership. Visitors at the show will, for the first time, have the opportunity to discover the impressive range of capabilities and supplies available right here in the USA.”

Expected to occupy more than 2,000 square feet (185 square meters), the “Made in USA Supply Chain” pavilion will join several other special focus areas planned for the May 18-20, 2010 event; including the “Cool Zone” featuring hot technologies transforming the industry, “IT Showcase” displaying the latest in enterprise and industry-specific software solutions, “Supply Chain of the Americas” highlighting opportunities and resources in the Western Hemisphere, and various other country and industry association displays.

“We are pleased that SEAMS has chosen to endorse SPESA EXPO in such an important and collaborative manner,” noted SPESA Managing Director Dave Gardner. “Made in USA Supply Chain perfectly aligns with our efforts to expand our event to create a one-stop shop for every segment of the diverse fashion and sewn products industry from apparel to upholstery and to cover the entire product lifecycle from design to delivery.”
