The Createch Group, a leading Canadian provider of supply chain optimization and information technology is pleased to announce the successful implementation of Microsoft NAV at Ranpro Inc., a manufacturer of extreme condition protective apparel located in Simcoe Ontario.

Ranpro, with its 40,000 square foot manufacturing facility and rapidly growing business needed to replace its outdated DOS-based MRP and accounting software with a new improved ERP system. Ranpro selected Microsoft Dynamics NAV with the Pebblestone Fashion add-on – a complete ERP solution for small and midsize businesses. With its garment size management capabilities from manufacturing through to supply chain management, plus real-time financial reporting – it was a perfect fit.

"Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a complete, end-to-end manufacturing and accounting software package," says Nancy Malcolm, Accounting Manager at Ranpro. "We saw how it would support us today and help us grow in the future."

Ranpro's management team spent two and half years evaluating ERP systems but only six months implementing Microsoft NAV. Nancy Malcolm advises that such achievement comes from finding the right partner - like The Createch Group, that will listen to its client and can be trusted. Most important, the partner must understand what the client wants and needs, and implement accordingly.

"Ranpro wanted to implement a lean productivity model to enhance customer service, stabilize pricing and provide increased employee security," added Boris Znebel, vice- president Microsoft Business Unit, at The Createch Group. "Their key objectives were to reduce shipping errors, and to increase efficiency of both office and warehouse staff."

The Createch Group implementation allowed Ranpro to quickly become self-sufficient on Microsoft NAV. By having monthly meetings, employees continue to get more out of the new ERP solution. Within a few months, Ranpro realized several improvements such as pricing accuracy for its customers; real-time reporting which positively impacted their financial operations, reduced freight costs and reduced shipping errors. Once NAV-powered bar coding is implemented Ranpro expects further efficiency gains and reduction of errors.
