Cybertill develops EPoS for single store retailers

Cybertill, one of the leading EPoS and multi-channel system providers, has released a point of sale solution specifically for independent retailers with only one store.

Retail Store One enables retailers to access and manage their store from any location using Internet access, a real boon for independents as they will no longer be tied to the store before and after opening. It is estimated that retailers will be able to reduce stock holding by anything between 15% - 40%, freeing up valuable cash flow for the business.

Retail Store One has been launched in response to the fact that many small retailers can only get access to costly or unsuitable software that has been developed for multiple retailers.

“Cybertill has specifically developed this system for single store retailers. As a business we have listened to what many independents have told us about their experience of EPoS systems. Two of the most common factors have been excessive costs and unsuitable software, which is too often designed for multiple retailers. Hence Cybertill has developed an EPoS system that focuses solely on what a single store retailer requires, and there are no superfluous features. What's more, it is positioned at an affordable price.” said Cybertill's Chairman, Ian Tomlinson.

Retail Store One provides all the tools for independents to manage every aspect of their business. Whether it is reducing stock holding, building a client data base at point of sale or raising purchase orders for stock replenishment. Retail Store One also has a flexible back office system, allowing retailers to access reports on the business so they are able to analyse up to the minute information on their business making more informed decisions.

Why is Retail Store One Different?
Unlike traditional EPoS systems that run on PCs locally in store, Retail Store One is a cloud based computing EPoS solution – this means retailers access the software over a broadband connection, via their point of sale hardware. This is a huge benefit to independents as Cybertill manage all aspects of the software, such as running upgrades and back ups. Tomlinson said,

“This means independent store owners do not have to become IT experts overnight and do not face the headache of having to manage an EPoS system, as well as run their business. And nor do independent stores need to invest in additional back office hardware, such as servers, just so they are able to access the back office system and reports. Retailers are able to access Cybertill from any location with an internet connection, so back office reporting can be done anywhere, at home, on the road, at a suppliers or just wherever and whenever it is convenient.”

Cybertill will also offer a straightforward upgrade path for those independents that wish to grow their business over time, by opening new stores or trading online, as they can upgrade to Cybertill's EPoS solution for retailers with multiple sites.

Cybertill is an EPoS & e-commerce provider that makes its solutions available as a web-based managed service over a virtual private network. The result is a powerful, real time, cost-effective solution for all retailers. Enabling its clients to exploit multi-channel retailing, Cybertill's solutions optimise single sales channels or integrate operations across stores, e-commerce and mail order in a flexible and intuitive way.
