He further added that “the future of Retail, Leather & Footwear Industry is very bright. All the students pursuing courses in these niche area has secured & lucrative career prospectus he rated FDDI programmes above than the B.Tech & MBA degree.”
Mr. Ahmed further said that “I am sure FDDI will continue to display the same vigour and the same sense of spirit as it has in the past, to face challenges, excel and lead by example in the years ahead.”
He was very optimistic about the role, which FDDI is playing in the development of the human resource for the footwear & allied sector.
The Chairman, FDDI appreciated the success achieved under the able guidance and leadership of the Managing Director during the last five years.
A cultural event was organized in his honour. The event showcased various talents by students across various programmes offered at FDDI. Highlight of the performances ranged from dance group and solo to vocal.
The 'Vote of Thanks' was given by Mr. Shashi Bhushan Shukla, IRS, Secretary, FDDI where he expressed that “FDDI is putting its best efforts to overcome the bottlenecks and cope up with the needs of leather, footwear & retail industry in the country.”
Mr. Shukla also thanked each and every committed staff member & dynamic students of FDDI for their fullest contribution.
Welcoming the freshers is an annual tradition at FDDI who were welcomed with utmost pomp and pleasure. The freshers are sure to remember this event forever, for this was the day when they were officially welcomed to the FDDI family.
