Stefano Lena joins provider of Centric 8 PLM

Stefano Lena has joined Centric Software Inc, as vice president of global sales and general manager for European operations.
Lena, based in Milan, brings 20 years of international experience in enterprise software sales to Centric, with strong background in the apparel, luxury and consumer goods industries. Prior to joining Centric – a leading provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) for makers of hard and/or soft lines in the luxury, fashion and consumer goods industries – he served as vice president of global sales and marketing for TXT e-solution's supply chain management business unit. He developed the retail, fashion and consumer products sectors for the Milan-based company, and spearheaded the company's expansion into France, Germany, England, Spain and the United States.
Previously, Lena held the position of senior business and technology consultant at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Milano (Italy), with post-graduate study in operational research.
Lena's appointment is part of Centric's aggressive expansion in Europe. The company experienced 200 percent revenue growth in Europe over the prior year during its last fiscal year (Jan. 31 close). European customers including Balenciaga, Longchamp, Christine Laure, Groupe Overall (Dellalui, El Internationale), INTERSPORT France, Colmar and Le Coq Sportif are solidifying Centric's position as the PLM leader in Europe for luxury and fast-moving consumer companies.
Lena and others joining the Centric European team bring fashion and luxury industry PLM expertise from leading firms in the PLM and information technology sectors to the company. Centric is anchoring its operations by establishing wholly owned subsidiaries in Italy and the United Kingdom, and by doubling the size of its operation in France.
