Sweden-based online retailer Nelly.com has deployed Gerber Technology's YuniquePLM suite to manage the development and design of its growing in-house lines of fashion goods, as well as its nearly 700 brands featured within its online catalogue.

Gerber Technology's long-time partner, ACG Nyström, the market leading full service provider to the textile industry providing both equipment and service as well as software solutions and consultancies, led the implementation.

YuniquePLM, designed specifically for the fashion and retail industries, features robust functionality in a web-based platform that helps teams around the world communicate effectively, accelerate their workflows and reduce errors, according to a press release.

Magnus Månsson, CEO of Nelly.com, said, “As our in-house brands continue to grow, so does our need for a system that aligns our supply chain. With our need for fast communication between design and manufacturing facilities, effective collaboration is absolutely essential. We look forward to the material benefits YuniquePLM will provide.”

Bill Brewster, vice president, and general manager of Enterprise SW Solutions said, “We are thrilled to partner with one of the largest online fashion retailers in the Nordic region. YuniquePLM will drive efficiency and link a variety of supply channels, as Nelly.com continues to develop its position.” (GK)
