D. Vasanth Kumar

Mr. D. Vasanth Kumar acquired his B.Tech-Textile Technology from the SSM College of Engineering, Komarapalayam, India, and M.Tech-Textile Technology from Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore, India. He successfully finished his project work on “Characterization of Chicken feather fibres and Textile composites for acoustics”.

He has two years of industrial exposure in leading garment sectors. Initially he worked as an Assistant Merchandiser for S.P Apparels Ltd, Avinashi, Tamil Nadu. There after he worked as a Merchandiser for Eastman Exports Global Clothing, Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. He is worked as a Lecturer in Department of Textile Technology (Man Made Fibre Technology), Thiagarajar Polytechnic College.

Recently he is working for Department of Fashion Technology-Angel College of Engineering & Technology-Tirupur. Textile Composites, Fabric Manufacturing, Technical & Medical Textiles and Garment Manufacturing & Merchandising are his areas of interest.
