Sambaditya Raj completed his education in West Bengal from Visva Bharati University, Shantiniketan. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Banasthali University, Rajasthan. His area of specialization is Quality control and Processing.

He is a part of various research projects. He also supports and guides several large and small scale industries, cooperative societies and NGOs. Currently he is working on a minor research project supported by the UGC. Other than the field of textile, he has a passion for photography and making documentary films.
