Sports goods firms bag $ 3.5mln export orders at ISPO

Sports goods manufacturers of Pakistan bagged export orders worth US $3.5 million from European buyers at ISPO – 2006 exhibition held in the German city of Munich.
Around 70 Pakistani companies manufacturing sports goods, sportswear and sports gloves took part in the ISPO-2006 Winter, where 1806 companies from more than 49 countries had displayed their products.
Contracts of another US $3.5 million are on the way, Director, Pakistan Pavilion at ISPO, Ikramullah said.
Export Promotion Bureau of Pakistan (EPB) had booked an area of 575 square meters at the exhibition this year, but the Bureau plans to book more space for Pak pavilion during the ISPO-2006 (Summer) to be held in Munich during 16-18 July.
