Alvanon's Tracy Rickert to join panel at WGSN Futures 2016

Tracy Rickert, senior consultant of Alvanon, will participate in a panel discussion titled "Cause and Commerce: Making Sustainability" in the event-WGSN Futures 2016, The vision 2030, scheduled for November 10, 2016. It is a summit that gives insight on how today's fashion and creative industry leaders envision the world evolving over the next 15 years.

At the day-long summit in New York, Rickert will address the challenges faced by companies during the early stages of incorporating corporate social responsibility (CSR) in their enterprise.

"Fashion is among the 'dirtiest' industries in the world and one of the most resistant to change. There is a need for innovation, disruption and cultural evolution in the ways we manufacture apparel, employ and manage human resources and bring product to market," said Rickert.

In the panel, Rickert will be accompanied by industry leading experts from well-known companies like H&M, Patagonia, Eileen Fisher and ISKO.

"During our panel discussion, we will discuss how brands and manufacturers can make sustainability profitable," said Rickert adding that Alvanon clients have improved sustainability practices along multiple points of the supply chain, while adding to their bottom line profits. (RR)
