The wage payment system of readymade garment (RMG) sector workers is going to be digitised soon, Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) president Rubana Huq said at a knowledge-sharing event on digital wage payments issue organised by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, in Dhaka.

Huq said BGMEA is going to sign a memorandum of understanding with the government for RMG workers to receive their wages under the digitised system soon.
