US apparel brand Aeropostale has terminated its exclusive collaboration with online retailer Amazon India and now the brand will also be available on other ecommerce marketplaces like Flipkart, Jabong, etc. Aeropostale started its exclusive partnership with Amazon India earlier in April 2016, with the agreement stating that it would last for a year.

"This was a mutually agreed partnership with Amazon India to be our exclusive online partner for a year. Now the tenure has got over and we are available on other platforms including Jabong, Flipkart besides Amazon," Sumit Dhingra, CEO, Aéropostale (India) was quoted as saying by a leading daily.

"As is often the industry practice on exclusives, Amazon Fashion and Aeropostale had a one year tie-up to exclusively sell on Amazon.in," Arun Sirdeshmukh, head, Amazon Fashion also said. "Aeropostale continues to sell on Amazon Fashion and is one of our top performing brands." (AR)
