Chittagong company to produce masks of global standard

Chittagong-based readymade garments (RMG) accessories manufacturer Apparel Promoters Limited recently announced it would produce international quality medical masks and KN95 masks under the brand name ‘Smart Smile’ for both domestic and global markets. It has partnered with China’s Golden Found Company and installed machinery for the purpose.
The company has already finalised a deal to ship 25 million pieces of KN95 masks to the United States, company chairman Mostafizur Rahman was quoted as saying by Bangla media reports.
"We are also negotiating the price to export two billion more pieces of masks to the US market under a mega deal," he added.
