H&M, one of world's largest fashion retailers, has opened its second store in India today at Ambience, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The new store is spread across 3 levels and over 28,000 square feet, as per a company press release.

“We are thrilled to be launching our second store today, right at the onset of Diwali. We look forward to welcoming customers who are looking for new fashion inspirations this festive season - for their own wardrobes or to gift to friends and family,” said Janne Einola, country manager, H&M India.

Presenting a wide selection of latest trends and timeless classics for customers, H&M will offer women's, men's, and children's apparel and accessories. The store will also launch the Holiday Campaign, starring Katy Perry, this December.

The opening of the store witnessed over 500 brand-lovers. The first seven customers in queue were rewarded with gift cards of Rs 7,000 each, followed by the next 300 receiving gift cards of Rs 700 each and a limited edition H&M India tote bag.

H&M plans to open stores in Bangalore, Gurgaon, and Mumbai in 2016. (HO)
