Delta Galil Industries, an Israeli manufacturer of branded and private label apparel products, has posted a 31 per cent rise in sales to $501.1 million during the third quarter (Q3) of FY21, ended on September 30, 2021, over the same period of prior fiscal. The company’s net income during the three-month quarter rose to $32.5 million (Q3 FY20: $19.5 million).

“We are very pleased with the strong growth in sales and margins in the quarter reflected in all of our operating segments and geographic regions,” Isaac Dabah, CEO of Delta Galil, said in a press release. “As part of our strategy to enhance our branded portfolio, we have signed a long-term global licensing agreement with Polo Ralph Lauren for women’s intimates and sleepwear. This partnership represents a significant addition to our licensing portfolio, and we’re thrilled to be working with such an iconic and timeless brand. It marks another significant step in our growth strategy of partnering with leading global brands and comes on the heels of our recent global licensing agreements with Adidas and Wolford.”

The company’s gross profit for Q3 rose to $198.5 million ($146.0 million), while operating income went up to $53.0 million ($33.6 million). Moreover, the e-commerce sales jumped 102 per cent to $52.4 million.

“During the quarter, we continued our focus on digital innovation. With our merged Bare Necessities and Brayola platform, we are now in the process of introducing our own brands through our digital channel. We have exciting plans to grow this area, which we expect to increase sales and profitability overtime,” Dabah continued.

“We have solid plans in place, a strong balance sheet and operating cash flow, all of which position us well to continue on the growth trajectory we enjoyed this quarter,” Dabah concluded in the release.

Delta Galil has raised its FY21 financial guidance and expects sales during the year to be in the range between $1,900 million and $1,940 million, representing 4 per cent increase from previous guidance. Net income during the year is expected to be between $113 million and $117 million (prior guidance: $96 million and $104 million).
