Kids Fashion Group bags licence for Tom Tailor Kids

Germany based apparel marketer Tom Tailor Group has signed a licensing agreement for its Tom Tailor Kids brand with Kids Fashion Group (KFG). Under the terms of the agreement, KFG will develop, manufacture and do wholesale marketing of Tom Tailor Kids licensed products over the next 10 years. The cooperation between the two companies begins June 2017.
Tom Tailor Kids will remain available through the Tom Tailor ecommerce store, own retail stores, and through many of its trade partners.
According to Tom Tailor, the two companies have been working closely together for several months to ensure a seamless transition and the employees of the kid's line will transfer to KFG under the terms of the deal.
"This will preserve the DNA of the fashion line and ensure that the expertise developed over many years is carried over into the license production," the company said.
The first Tom Tailor Kids collection developed by KFG will be released in the spring of 2018. (AR)
