Net revenue at athletic apparel marketer Lululemon Athletica grew 13 per cent to $544.4 million in the three months ended October 30, 2016 from $479.7 million in the prior fiscal's third quarter. Total comparable sales, which also includes comparable store sales and direct to consumer rose 7 per cent, while comparable store sales alone increased 4 per cent.

Income from operations surged 36 per cent from a fiscal ago quarter to $93.0 million in the reporting quarter and as a percentage of net revenue was 17.1 per cent, also up against 14.2 per cent in the third quarter of last fiscal.
In the quarter under review, diluted earnings per share were $0.50 as against $0.38 in the comparable quarter of previous fiscal.
Excluding certain tax and related interest adjustments, diluted earnings per share amounted to $0.47 for the third quarter of fiscal 2017 vis-à-vis $0.35 in the same quarter of fiscal 2016. (AR)
