Moda launches Little Soles to showcase kid's footwear

Moda is launching a new Little Soles section for February 2020 show to place spotlight on kid’s footwear and in response to interest in its footwear from children’s footwear brands. From February 23-25 at NEC Birmingham, buyers can expect to see children’s footwear brands and brands offering kids shoes beside their regular offering, within Little Soles zone.

Brands confirmed within Little Soles include Froddo, Old Soles, Primigi, Superfit, Ricosta, Shoesme, Young Soles, Salamander and Petasil.

Throughout the rest of the Footwear Hall, brands and distributers offering kids footwear as part of their full offer include XTi, Ipanema, Skechers kids, Crocs kids, Rider, Zaxy, Grendha, Roamers, Goor, Route 21, DEK, US Brass, and Boulevard.

With a fun and experiential vibe, Little Soles will feature its own Little Soles Café and Play Area. “We are delighted to launch the Little Soles sector and offer kid’s footwear brands a dedicated space to shine a light on their collections. We’re confident that buyers will love the new zone and the playfulness and energy we will create with the café and play area. With 26 kid’s footwear brands already showcasing at Moda Footwear, and over 130 footwear brands in total, this is an area of real focus for us and we couldn’t be happier with how much interest we have had so far,” said Lisa Govier, footwear director at Moda.

“I come back to Moda every season. It is one of the best children’s footwear shows in Europe and retailers visit from all across the UK as it is the focal point of our industry,” said Mark Collins, European sales manager of Old Soles.

The heart of UK fashion, Moda is the key meeting place for mainstream fashion, delivering a high quality and cost-effective platform for mid-market brands and ensuring a commercially viable and convenient buying environment for retailers across the UK and Ireland. Bringing together over 1,200 collections under one roof at the NEC Birmingham, to deliver the complete season's overview to over 9,000 fashion buyers, the show also brings fashion to life on 16 catwalk shows throughout the three days to inspire buyers and sell brands, alongside a comprehensive retail-focused seminar programme, interactive workshops and networking events. Moda is a Hyve Group plc event.
