Pantaloon to invest Rs 100 cr in IT infrastructure

major retailer of the country, pantaloon retail (india) limited has planned new it infrastructure and is seeking sap expertise in business software solutions.

a rs 100 crore investment has been envisaged to revamp the it infrastructure of the group.

pantaloon retail's chief financial officer chinar deshpande announced the strategic partnership with sap, which will set up business solutions for its lifestyle and value retail businesses.

sap as per plans, will implement its mysap business suite, sap advanced planning tool for merchandise planning and sap apparel & footwear solutions which would be implemented across the organisation.

all this will go down well in providing better customer services and meeting the overall corporate objectives, conveyed deshpande.
