Stone Island, an Italian sportswear brand, has relocated its London flagship store as a part of its 30th anniversary year expansion programme.
The new 2,000 sq ft store on Brewer Street will house Stone Island's mainline collection, the Stone Island Shadow Project and other Stone Island lines.
Carlo Rivetti, CEO of Stone Island, said the company plans to expand the brand in its key foreign markets during its 30th anniversary year.
He said the English community has always appreciated Stone Island, which is an icon for them.
He added that for some time, the company had been on the look out for a better space in London, where it can offer all its collections at one place.
The Stone Island label was set up by Italian designer Massimo Osti in 1982 as an additional collection of his main C.P Company label. The Stone Island brand was initially known for surface treatment of fabrics and dyeing techniques.
